Reeve Kutzan called the meeting to order at 9:00 am

Be It Resolved that the minutes of the last regular meeting of council of the Rural Municipality of Grandview held April 21, 2010 and special meetings held April 29 & May 3, 2010 be adopted as circulated/read. Carried

Be It Resolved that the agenda as prepared by the CAO be and is hereby adopted as amended. Carried

Financial Statement

Be It Resolved that the un-audited financial statement for the month ending march 31, 2010 be accepted as presented by the CAO. Carried

General Business

Be It Resolved that work projects dated for May 12, 2010 are hereby approved. Carried

Water bill complaint received – Council reviewed and left as is.
Water plant – security as discussed

Be It Resolved that the RM of Grandview Council accepts the PARC audited statement for the year ending December 31, 2009. Carried

Be It Resolved that the RM of Grandview accepts the Grandview & District Recreation Commission audited statement for the year ending December 31, 2010. Carried

Be It Resolved that the Council and CAO attend the June District meeting held in Dauphin June 10, 2010;

And Further Be It Resolved that all expenses be paid by the municipality. Carried

Financial plan reviewed.

Be It Resolved that a special meeting be held May 12, 2010 at 8:00pm in the Rural Municipal Office. Carried

Be It Resolved that we do now go in camera to discuss items as per the Municipal Act 152(3);
Furthermore that all items discussed are confidential. Carried

Be It Resolved that we return to our regular meeting of council. Carried

Whereas the Federal Gas Tax Funding with the Province of Manitoba and Government of Canada have signed an amendment to the Canada-Manitoba Gas Tax Agreement to extend the transfer of Federal gas taxes to Manitoba municipalities for another fours years – 2010/11-2013/14;

Therefore Be It Resolved the Council authorizes the Reeve and CAO to sign said agreement. Carried

Whereas the RM of Grandview have purchased a mower & trimmer from Grandview Small Motors:

Therefore Be It Resolved that the said purchase be funded through the cemetery reserve fund. Carried

Beavers complaint-referred to RM Policy on beavers.
