Deputy Reeve Fiarchuk called the meeting to order at 9:00 am
Be It Resolved that the minutes of the last regular meeting of council
of the Rural Municipality of Grandview held May 12, 2010, Financial
Plan Hearing held May 12, 2010 and special meeting held May 12, 2010
be adopted as circulated/read. Carried
Be It Resolved that the agenda as prepared by the CAO be amended and
is hereby adopted. Carried

Be It Resoled that David Kozakowski and Sidney Yurkiw attend a seminar
on Principles and Practices Drinking Water Chlorination June 3 in Brandon;
Further Be It Resoled that all expenses be paid by the municipality.

Be It Resolved that the Office Staff attend a seminar in Brandon on
September 9, 2010 – Providing the Tools a workshop on council
orientation.
Further Be It Resolved that all expenses be paid by the municipality.

Be It Resolved that the RM of Grandview proclaims June 15, 2010 as World
Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) Carried.
General Business
Be It Resolved that work projects dated May 26, 2010 are hereby approved.
Carried
Complaints was discussed on gravel removed from municipal road and
nails found on a municipal road allowance. Council directed CAO to add
to notice in tax statements advising ratepayers that municipal roads
fall under municipal jurisdiction and therefore removal of gravel for
personal use will be considered a criminal offence and to report the
nails to the RCMP.
Whereas the RM of Grandview has received an application to subdivide
a portion of property located at NW 24-24-25W;
Therefore Be It Resolved that the said subdivision is hereby approved
by the Council of the RM of Grandview with the following condition;
1) Contact Manitoba Conservation – Environment – Mr. Dave
Yunker (204)622-2134 require setback information for the existing sewage
ejector. Carried
Be It Resolved that we do now go in camera to discuss items as per the
Municipal Act 152(3);
Furthermore that all items are confidential. Carried
Be It Resolved that we return to our regular meeting. Carried.
Cemetery Committee – citizen appointment to board – table
to joint meeting.
By-Laws
Be It Resolved that By-law No. 8-2010 (Corridor Program) be given first
reading. Carried
Be It Resolved that By-Law No. 8-200 (Corridor Program) be given second
reading. Carried
Be It Resolved that we now adjourn12:50pm. Carried
