MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL OF
THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF GRANDVIEW
HELD JULY 28, 2010

Reeve Kutzan called the meeting to order at 9:00 am

Be It Resolved that the minutes of the last regular meeting of council of the Rural Municipality of Grandview held July 14, 2010 be adopted as circulated/read. Carried

Be It Resolved that the agenda as prepared by the Assist. CAO be amended and is hereby adopted.

Whereas the RM of Grandview is located between the Duck and Riding Mountains

And Whereas the beavers relocate to our RM and destroy our infrastruce, pasture and land,

And Whereas the Beaver Program offered by the Province has been reduced and is inadequate for our area.

Therefore Be It resolved that the R.M. of Grandview write the Minister to address changes to the program that reflect area needs. Carried

Financial Statement

Be It Resolved that the un-audited financial statement for the month ending June 30, 2010 be accepted as presented by the Assist. CAO. Carried

General Business

Be It Resolved that the RM of Grandview will offer electronic bill payment service to their ratepayers through Central 1 Credit Union for the payments of taxes and utility bills;

And Further be It Resolved that the Reeve and CAO sign said agreement with Central 1 Credit Union to offer this service at no cost to the RM of Grandview. Carried

Be It Resolved that BY-law #9-2010 (fire truck borrowing) be given second reading as amended.. Carried

Bet it Resolved that By-law #9-2010 (fire truck borrowing) be given third reading as amended.
