HELD HELD NOVEMBER 18, 2009

Reeve Kutzan called the meeting to order at 10:00 am
All members of Council received a copy of the Municipal Conflict of
Interest Act as well as memo indicating that their Disclosure of Personal
Interests/Assets must be filed with the CAO by November 30th in accordance
with the Municipal Council Conflict of Interest Act.
Be It Resolved that the minutes of the last regular meeting of council
of the Rural Municipality of Grandview held October 27, 2009 be adopted
as circulated/read. Carried
Be It Resolved that the minutes of the Board of Revision meeting of
the Rural Municipality of Grandview held October 27, 2009 be adopted
as circulated/read. Carried
Be It Resolved that the agenda be adopted as amended. Carried

Be It Resolved that the RM of Grandview provide funding in the amount
of $100.00 towards the community super held in conjunction with Moonlight
Madness. Carried
General Business
Be It Resolved that work projects dated for November 18, 2009 are hereby
tabled pending further information (ie. Permits in place) and availability
of time. Carried
Whereas the Board of Revision has completed its works and return their
recommendation;
Therefore Be It Resolved that the Council of the RM of Grandview approved
and accept the recommendations of the Board of Revision for the 2009
& 2010 assessment rolls for the RM of Grandview. Carried
Be It Resolved that the RM of Grandview council agreed to contribute
their share of the tax sharing group to the Heartland Lanes Cooperative
Ltd. in the amount of $2,092.71. Carried
Be It Resolved that CAO Sharon Storozuk attend a Policy Development
seminar sponsored by the MMAA being held in Brandon, Manitoba on December
3, 2009 with expenses being paid by the municipality. Carried

General discussion regarding our position.
Nuisance Grounds
Where as the Town of Grandview is purchasing additional land for the
expansion of the nuisance grounds;
And where as the RM of Grandview cost shares expenses with the Town
of Grandview on a 50/50 basis.
Therefore Be It Resolved that we contributed our half of the expenses
of said purchase and that the Town of Grandview remain the sole owner.

Be it Resolved that the RM of Grandview and PARC sign a three year lease
for 414 main street. Carried
? Conservation – citizen appointments – still looking into
Whereas Mountain View School Division has requested input from the municipalities
regarding the review of its electoral wards;
And whereas options to consider include: three wards mirroring the
old division lines, four wards following municipal boundaries and three
wards changing boundaries for two of the wards from the former school
division lines;
Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the Council of the RM of Grandview
supports Option #2 as set out in the information provided by MVSD dated
September 28, 2009. Carried
Be It Resolved that the accounts for the month of November, 2009 amounting
to $590,866.78 be paid as listed. Cheque numbers 11098-11177. Carried
Be It Resolved that we now adjourn, 12:45 pm. Carried
