Tourism & Recreation Wicklow School Legal Description: SE 22-26-24 Inscription: Located on 22-26-24, the school served the children of settlers engaged in mixed farming, wood cutting and logging, as well as providing a place for local meetings, church services, Sunday school, picnics, suppers, and concerts. The first teacher was May Breusten: the first trustees were C.B. McLean, W.B. Crossley and R. Kindrick, the longest serving teacher was Florence Harkness, who taught from 1923 to 1934 and from 1963 to 1967. When the school closed due to consolidation.
